Once the 24 hour news cycle moves on to the next big story, the mainstream media will stop covering Kathy Griffin. I bet CNN will hire her back, and the advertisers will coming sneaking back when they think no one is watching anymore.

Although it wouldn't surprise me if the Created News Network rehired her I have a feeling they won't. As for her career as a third-rate comic, I imagine she'll again find a place on the circuit of Indian casinos and whatnot in their smaller venues that entertain their suckers between performances of whatever well-know entertainers are currently headlining at the place.
