Comparing Alinsky's "Rules for Radicals" to today's American Left

Projection is the process of displacing one’s feelings onto a different person, animal, or object. The term is most commonly used to describe defensive projection—attributing one’s own unacceptable urges to another.

Unconscious discomfort can lead people to attribute unacceptable feelings or impulses to someone else to avoid confronting them. Projection allows the difficult trait to be addressed without the individual fully recognizing it in themselves.

A side effect of.

I supported Ronald Reagan in the 80s. Today I support Donald Trump. IMO, both are valid. Neither were/are perfect, but both were what was needed at the time.
Reagan and Trump?
Of course, you did.
Two of the most corrupt politicians in American history.
Republicans love their criminal politicians.

Reagan was elected to deal with Inflation, Debt adn the Soviets. He did well on two of them.

Trump was elected to deal with Trade and Immigration. Early indicators were encouraging, until Covid hit and disrupted everything.

NO, they didn't.

"Ninety to ninety-five percent of these are one-off cases," said a former senior law enforcement official with knowledge of the investigation. "Then you have five percent, maybe, of these militia groups that were more closely organized. But there was no grand scheme with Roger Stone and Alex Jones and all of these people to storm the Capitol and take hostages."

Reagan caused inflation.

Trump screwed the pooch on both.
Of course, Trump's cult doesn't blame him, it was covid.

But ignore Carter's middle east oil embargo.

Over a YEAR OLD, opinion, and false.

CLAIM: The FBI has cleared President Donald Trump “of any guilt, any connection” to the Jan. 6 attack on the Capitol.

AP’S ASSESSMENT: False. There is no record of the federal law enforcement agency making such a statement.

“The FBI has just released their findings that this was pre-planned and had nothing to do with President Donald John Trump,” he says. He later adds, “He was partially impeached on this bull nonsense.”

But there is no record of the FBI making such a statement as is described in the video.

In response to an inquiry from The Associated Press, a spokesperson for FBI wrote: “We will direct you toCapitol Violence | Federal Bureau of Investigation for relevant information and statements made by the FBI.” An AP review of the site did not yield any FBI statements that match the one quoted in the video.

Hilary Clinton was his Alinskys biggest fan and he offered her a job if she did not go to law school.

Clinton first met Alinsky when she was at Wellesley working on her 1969 thesis on his controversial theories on community organizing, many of which were outlined in his 1946 handbook, "Reveille for Radicals."

In the book, Alinsky encouraged community organizers to "fan the latent hostilities" of low-income, inner city residents and "search out controversy and issues, rather than avoid them." His 1971 book, "Rules for Radicals," published a year before his death, expanded on that theme. "Pick the target, freeze it, personalize it, and polarize it," Alinsky wrote.

Alinsky trained the NEA teacher's union.

They absolutely employ these tactics as did that asshole Obama and the downstream lovers of his river of shit do to the same.

Simple fact is that it works, especially on a populace glued to their devices that get their 'information' fed to them this way instead of bothering to find out the actual facts of a given situation.

Reagan caused inflation.

An odd claim. One that clashes with my memories of the time. And kind of off topic.

Trump screwed the pooch on both.

How am I ignoring Carter's middle east embargo? What are you even talking about? Are you just trying to derail the thread?

No record of the agency making a formal statement, doesn't mean that the reuters story is false.

Reagan took over in 1980, I would say that your claim is nonsense. And off topic.
