Commutation of Stone Sentence Correct Move

The whole Stone case is based on Russia hacking the DNC and giving the info to Wikileaks, which has never been proven
You folks believe in so many right wing media inspired lies I can hardly keep up.

Now show me where the FBI did an independent review of the DNC servers?

Nothing, in other words.

  • Multiple top Trump campaign aides told investigators that Trump himself, then the presumptive Republican presidential nominee, knew WikiLeaks had damaging information on the Clinton campaign.
    • Then chairman Paul Manafort, deputy campaign chairman Rick Gates, and personal attorney Michael Cohen told investigators that Stone told Trump and several advisers in July 2016 that he had spoken with WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange and that the website would begin dumping documents in just a few days.
    • Mueller's team "established that the Trump Campaign displayed interest in the WikiLeaks releases, and that former Campaign member Roger Stone was in contact with the Campaign about those releases, claiming advance knowledge of more to come," the report said.
  • Mueller concluded that Trump may have lied to investigators in his written answers to questions in the investigation.
    • "Cohen recalled a conversation in which Roger Stone told Trump that WikiLeaks planned to release information soon, and Manafort recalled that Trump had asked him to stay in touch with Stone about WikiLeaks," the report said.
    • "It is possible that, by the time the President submitted his written answers two years after the relevant events had occurred, he no longer had clear recollections of his discussions with Stone or his knowledge of Stone's asserted communications with WikiLeaks," the report said. "But the President's conduct could also be viewed as reflecting his awareness that Stone could provide evidence that would run counter to the President's denials and would link the President to Stone's efforts to reach out to WikiLeaks."
  • Stone "indicated he had knowledge" of Trump's written answers to Mueller.
    • Mueller's report noted that Stone went on Fox News on the evening of January 25, 2019, the day he made his first court appearance after being indicted.
    • "That evening, Stone appeared on Fox News and indicated he had knowledge of the President's answers to this Office's written questions," the report said. "When asked if he had spoken to the President about the allegation that he had lied to Congress, Stone said, 'I have not' and added, 'When the President answered the written interrogatories, he correctly and honestly said, 'Roger Stone and I never discussed this and we never did.'"
The first item is not a crime. The next two are nothing more than gossip.
Why would Barr’s DOJ prosecute him if there were no crimes? Is Barr in on the fixx?
Barr doesn't have dictatorial control over the DOJ. Barr isn't willing to toss esablished procedures into the waste bin like Democrat AGs.
Hold up... didn’t Barr just step in and drop the Flynn case? That directly goes against what you just said does it not?
Go annoy someone else.
I’m sorry if pointing out your own contradictions and fake statements is annoying to you. Try being honest and accurate with what you say and that won’t happen.
Honesty and accuracy? From you? Hahahahaha!
Yes, that’s what I bring. Can you show otherwise?
You bring a steaming pile of bullshit. Tell us again how Cuomo has never lied. Give us some more TDS conspiracies that have been debunked countless times. That’s a all you have ever brought.

Glad to see you acknowledge the FBI never did an independent investigation of the DNC servers and relied solely on Crowstrike who was hire by the DNC and even then the FBI only accessed a review as opposed to a full report...like I said the entire case against Stone is dependent on Russia having hacked the DNC server which the FBI has no way to prove happened since they never did an independent review.

Do you really think you know more about the details of these cases than the FBI?

Man was a casualty of Mueller witch hunt that never should have happened.
Its ridiculous that the elites should have to serve time.
What truly was ridiculous was how Stone was arrested. CNN called in for playing up the optics
was the epitome of politics going awry. Thomas you really need to focus on are the real stories
and not what you're being fed.
Obviously this case will provoke partisan feelings but the concept of a "pardon" seems to be unAmerican. Its something that a medieval king or a sultan would hand out not an elected President in a supposed meritocracy.
It creates elites because it relies on who you know. That cant be right.
You act like Trump has been the only president to do such a thing. Where was the outrage when Obama did such things.
You were as quiet as a church mouse. interesting.....

Obama did not issue pardons or commutations to his cronies. He also issued a pardon issued to Arpaio. The fact that Barr is not defending it shows wrong it was.

What the FBI got was as good as examining the server. There is no doubt the Russians hacked the DNC servers. Only brainwashed fools like you believe this.

*Stone, in fact, said the corrupt part out loud, in a conversation with NBC’s Howard Fineman shortly before Trump’s announcement. “He knows I was under enormous pressure to turn on him,” Stone told Fineman. “It would have eased my situation considerably. But I didn’t.”*

The takeaway here isn't hard to figure out. “He knows I was under enormous pressure to turn on him,”...............meaning..............Stone didn't tell the damaging info he knew about.

What information was that?

"A former top Trump campaign official on Tuesday testified that President Donald Trump talked to political trickster Roger Stone about WikiLeaks during the 2016 campaign.
That testimony by Rick Gates at Stone’s trial contrasts with Trump’s claim last November that he did not recall speaking to Stone about WikiLeaks, the document disclosure group that during the 2016 campaign released emails stolen from the Democratic Party and Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton’s own campaign chief.

Gates testified in U.S. District Court in Washington, D.C., that less than a minute after finishing a July 2016 call from Stone, Trump indicated that “more information would be coming” from Wikileaks."

I'd say Stone earned more than a commutation for obstructing the investigation. He should get a penthouse suite in Trump Tower or a permanent room at Mar-A-Lago. Because if Stone hadn't betrayed the country, justice, and basic decency Individual 1 may very well have been impeachment for conspiracy (with Wikileaks) to defraud the voting public. This, on top of the 4 counts of obstruction Mueller provided evidence of in his report.
That isn't what he said, you brain damaged douchebag. Mueller wanted Stone to lie.
Mueller wanted Stone to lie?! Haha and you know this because... your butthole told you or do you have another source?
Everyone Mueller interrogated said the same thing, moron. Mueller is a modern day Torquemada.

You are a idiot. Trump makes Nixon look like a saint.

Barr is running away from this. That shows how crooked it is.

Imagine a more corrupt use of the clemency power than Trump’s Roger Stone commutation

Stone obviously scared the bejesus out of Trump. Sounds like Stone was getting ready to spill some beans if Trump didn't soon act to keep him out of prison.
The Stone prosecution was utterly corrupt. That's why the President has the clemency power.
You nailed it.

No you are the idiot,Trump did not expand the Vietnam war illegally bombing Cambodia or make us the poor country we are now by taking us off the gold standard, nor murder 58,000 Americans with his pal Lbj.Mass murderer of women and children Nixon was 100 times worse than trump fool, you lost your credibility there and have shit on your face now.Lol

The party of law and order my ass...

There are low lifes

There are the lowest of lifes

There are child molesterors

There are serial killers

And then there's Roger Stone

And the there's the Republican party

Oh well, paybacks are a mofo.

see you down road.
Wow, you rank disagreeable political opinions as worse than actual political crimes, which you rank as worse than serial murder and child molestation?

Holy fuck, no wonder we disagree on so much, your politics hold religious levels of moral significance for you. Hard to imagine, much less relate.
Until he gets rid of that retarded avatar bs that mass murderer and Kenyon traiter Obama had class,he has no credibility around here.lol

Man was a casualty of Mueller witch hunt that never should have happened.

Agreed. We need to have Trump on the record standing up for slime.
Excellent description of Bill Clinton.lol

No I really dont. I took care to mention that this is not a partisan thing. Last year Trump pardoned Jack Johnson which was an entirely correct use of the pardon. I applaud him for that. Alan Turing was pardoned over here a while back and that was also correct.

What isnt correct is any President giving his friends a pass no matter what they have done. That is unaccountable and regal in nature. Its just not right and undermines democracy and the rule of law. That should concern citizens from all political backgrounds.
Uh pardoning stone was a correct pardon as well,he got railroaded, deal with it.

That GD jury was so rigged like everything else in this Russian BS.
The UNDERSTATEMENT of the year.

We've only hear this talking point about 10,000 times now. Try posting some arguments that actually support your douchebag opinion instead of DNC talking points.
What about Flynn lying to Vice President Mike Pence. What Flynn told Pence was the same as what Flynn told the FBI. And we know what he told Pence was a lie.
Lying to Pence was not a crime, moron. The agents who interviewed Flynn said he was telling the truth. Either way, it doesn't matter because the FBI had no business investigating Flynn.

How many thousands of times are you douchebags going to keep repeating these same talking points?
Good question and great point.lol

Bob Mueller III writes in an op-ed: "Roger Stone remains a convicted felon, and rightly so."
What makes you believe any rational person gives a fuck about what senile idiot Mueller says?
Millions of rational people read Muellers report. They listen.
Rational people don't listen to senile idiots like Mueller.
So very true, you are owning the stone haters.Lol
