I don't align with any active communist party in America, the CPUSA as it stands is a joke, well, it's essentially died off due to the mass fear of communism. Stalinism, I wouldn't call it a communist theory, stalin was more so a marxist-leninist, adding in his own misguided policies and decisions, although he did follow Leninism. I'd consider myself a Marxist-Leninist-Maoist, as it is currently the highest stage of communist theory, following many ideas I agree with.

The CPUSA has had a rough history, having to deal with the U.S. government's witch hunt and repression, the fear of communism by the general public.. I didn't mean to call their goals and their members/leaders a joke, I worded that wrong, I would say that the party has no viable influence and receives no attention/has extremely low membership rates, which is a "joke" to me.

So? Humans will always be human, no matter what system gets put in place they all eventually suffer the same fate, abuse, corruption and the inevitable downfall. It's called the Life Cycle of empires, it applies even in the micro as well as the macro.
Attempting to educate and ultimately instil a theoretic communist system in this country will never work, it's an exercise in futility, we'd most likely go democratic socialist then fracture and devolve into a dictatorship first. That's called reality.

Well, welcome to the site. I hope you have a good time here.

You are probably going to find a lot of blowback about communism, and rightfully so, because I think it is a shitty system that died long before it was born, and since I once lived in the former East Germany for a while, I can personally attest to the horrible things that communism did to that small country and how long it has taken the former DDR to recover from the damage done by communism.

That being said, and knowing that you will never fit into the Democratic or Republican parties in the USA, I do vigorously fight for your RIGHT to be a communist, which is far more than a communist would ever do for us. I do this because the USA is an incredible land, far more generous than many realize.
