That’s a silly post. Light sweet crude is preferred for gasoline whether it’s here or elsewhere. Do you mean gas or gasoline ? First you claim we are energy independent then you go on to acknowledge that we aren’t. Either you’re completely misinformed or English isn’t your first language. HTF could we be energy independent if we REQUIRE 490,000 barrels of crude from the Middle East for gasoline ? Our light sweet crude is low sulfur content as is the same from anywhere else.
