About two weeks ago in San Antonio, at least one vehicle pulled up to a building that houses offices for ICE and a gunman fired shots through a window, FBI officials said. No one was injured. Another building used by ICE was also fired on.

In July, a 69-year-old man — who wrote a manifesto saying he identified with the far-left group Antifa -- fired a rifle at an ICE center in Tacoma, Wash., where thousands of migrants were housed. He also set a vehicle on fire and attempted to light propane tanks in an attempt to burn the facility to the ground before he was shot and killed by police.

We're just lucky so far that these anti-facist facists are as inept and incompetent at violence as their political wing is about how anything in America ACTUALLY works....

it's surreal. you have people literally telling people SHUT UP WE'RE PROTECTING FREE SPEECH and they think they're justified in this approach. it's literally what i saw in the early 70s with the GIVE US PEACE OR WE WILL BEAT THE SHIT OUT OF YOU. the big difference today is our Gov is actually listening AND pandering to this crowd. to see that very few if any democratic candidates condemn this activity is insane.

but we literally live in a world that if i don't agree with the crazies on the left OR right, i'm instantly for everything their against. we've had to dumb our world and levels of comprehension down to such a binary state that we've become incapable of thought and actually addressing our issues like adults.

we really need to be able to get back to talking politics and disagreeing without every disagreement suddenly making mount st helens out of mt dora (florida mountain, see many of those?)

again - the gov was not supporting this movement "in public". colleges still had their issues. they always will. the fact they lean liberal isn't unusual at all. the fact they're given as much "power" over who can and can't speak on their campus is a bit different. but not likely overall from late 60s/early 70s.
