The top 25 struggled yesterday.

Tennessee lost to unranked UF
Kansas St lost to unranked Mizz U

FSU almost lost to unranked BC
UGA was losing at the half to unranked SC in a game they should have dominated.
Alabama struggled with unranked USF and Coach Saban is clearly looking for an alternative to Milroe
Texas won by 3 TD's but it was tied going into the 4th against Wyoming
Colorado when to 2OT with Colorado St
PSU didnt look particularly great against Illinois.

Should see some movement this week in the rankings.

I think it is a lack of motivation in non conference games

Do we long for the days when a typical game the first four weeks of the season was Nebraska beating South Central Teachers College 59-0?

Or Michigan 31-6 (over Bowling Green). However, they don't get a real test until 10/7 (Minnesota) and then after that MSU and OSU.
Pretty soft schedule this year for them.

EDIT - Sorry. Just saw Penn State was on their calendar.
If MSU is a challenge UM isnt nearly as good as their ranking.

Parity is a good thing.

I hope Oregon St. and Washington St. Go 13-0 and 12-1 into the PAC-12 Championship game and win it all, other than that the Big 4 can go to hell.

We certainly saw movement. Alabama dropped out of the Top 10 for the first time in 128 weeks. And justifiably so.

Not as much as I thought we would see honestly. I dont know how FSU doesnt move at all in one poll and only drops one spot in another and Texas actually moved up a spot. They were tied with Wyoming going into the 4th quarter.

With all of the things that have gone wrong with Bama football this year, at least we are not Oklahoma State. OK State paid $300k to have South Alabama come and give them a cupcake on their schedule. Someone forgot to tell South Alabama that they were the cupcake. They beat OK State 33-7.

Imagine that hard an ass-whipping, and then write them a check for $300,000.00.
