Journalist lie to enhance their careers then engage in a public confession when they get caught. A public confession makes it all okay for the rich and the famous. If anything, public confession is the Socialist religion’s nod to the private confessions encouraged by traditional religions.

The best kept secret in all of the soul baring is that television grants collective absolution to the rich and the famous after a media confession. The run of the mill deceiver is condemned to find absolution on a catch-as-catch-can basis. The penance imposed on a famous person after publically admitting to telling a fib is often a revitalized career — which, I suspect, prompts the confession in the first place.

The Roman Catholic Church has been in the confession racket a lot longer than everybody else. Almost from America’s beginning priests were given the confessional-privilege (1813). Doctors, lawyers, journalists, and psychiatrists, followed suit with similar protections. I would take the privilege away from priests and psychiatrists, before I would take it away from the others. If you are dumb enough to tell priests and psychiatrists anything you do not deserve protection.

Judges are lawyers; so lying for the team is required. The difference between liars in the administration and known-liars on the SCOTUS is that politicians take their reputations with them when they leave, but a liar on the Supreme Court does lasting harm to the institution.

Sensible people also expect politicians to lie, but a known-liar on the High Court is like a Catholic priest who betrays the Seal of the Confessional. Once broken by one priest no priest can ever be trusted again.

Priests lie, too. I am not certain who they confess to.

NOTE: Long before Dan Rather did his fawn-a-thon after he got caught lying, he reported that priests told Soviet Communists everything they heard in the confession box in order to stay in business. So much for the seal of the confessional never being broken.

The party of liars place their hand on the Constitution and swear a secret oath upon pain of death ——— I do solemnly swear that I will lie about everything, so help me George Washington.

The Clintons had access to the public microphone for more than 25 years. In all of that time they never did anything but lie. Now, Bubba has the balls to insist Americans shut up listen to more lies:

The former president, exasperated, then barked, “Shut up and listen to my answer, and I’ll answer it.​

Even for the Clintons this one takes the blue ribbon. The usual plants in the audience are expected to applaud, but the other Clinton supporters should be asking themselves whose minds were poisoned by two of the most accomplished liars in politics.

As the heckler was hustled out of the room by county deputies, Clinton said, “His mind has been poisoned by lies and he won’t listen.”​

This women should have asked Clinton about Hillary’s involvement in the Waco Massacre:

Once the man was gone, though, a woman who apparently had accompanied the heckler and been videotaping him, began her own outburst, shouting, “Hillary lied over four coffins, she lied to those families, so all those families are liars?”​

Take this one to the bank. Anybody who brags about slaughtering children in the womb never lost a minute’s sleep for any dead American:

The former president spoke up for his wife, who as Secretary of State was responsible for the Benghazi compound’s security, after the crowd quieted down.

You better run for the hills when an unrepentant liar says “. . . believe me.”.

Finally, just a reminder that the Clintons loathe the military when they are not fighting for the United Nations. The Marine who took the fight to the Clintons in their camp might have fared better had he not mentioned his military background.
