I was forced to wear a mask for the first time this weekend in order to do some grocery shopping. It's uncomfortable, sometimes difficult to breath and difficult to speak to the cashier. More importantly, I saw stuff that was far more troubling. One guy was wiping the sweat off his forehead (as we had a heat wave) and touching products with the same hand, putting them back, picking up another etc.
So I'm thinking, "we are all wearing masks thanks to the filthy communists, and people will be taking home food and items touched by any number of people who have the virus".
Knowing Canadians, I know they are all scared out of their wits, while few of them even know that 84% of the deaths in this country has been in Nursing Homes. 84%!
Yes, the masks helps and I understand the need for it, I'm not as convinced as others though about the need for them, especially when we are all social distancing and staying away. Ultimately, I don't have to like it.
