So did most of my family who moved there during the Depression from Okiehoma. I like Missouri because it is a freer state than OKiehoma, Texass and Arkanssass that I have lived in.

My grandparents on my father's side came to California during the Great Depression. Not quite a Grapes of Wrath story since Grampa was a cabinetmaker and not a farmer. But if they'd turned east instead of west we might be neighbors today.
