Plants need other nutrients as well, which limits growth regardless of an abundance of CO2. Plants have a daily respiration cycle. They breath CO2 in during the day using what they can for growth then breath the excess out at night.

I have 24 plants in my sitting room and attribute most of their well being to my daily addresses and general chat , often face to petals .
Are you suggesting that I would do even better if I changed my diet and started regular farting and coughing to boost Co2 availability ?
