where i come from when a politician (and/or author) appears on a show to interview about campaigning (which was what the book is about) it is not rude to ask that politician (and/or author) about things that are in the the book.

I'm ms. O'donnell didn't what to discuss them, then she probably should have left them out of the book.

I don't think liberals should be able to write about things and then appear on conservative shows and dictate which things from the book can and cannot be discussed. Same goes for a conservative, if you write about it in the book you are trying to drum up sales for expect to be asked about positions that are in the book.

not being fourth coming about your OWN words is fairly rude as well. At the very least shady and evasive. If your mother asked you a question when you were a kid, if you said no comment, would it end there? If you wouldn't do it to your mom, it's because it's how you were home trained.
