The expected temperature rise, from CO2 alone, is 2.1 deg Celsius. (280ppm to 410ppm)

To date we have seen just a 1.1 deg Fahrenheit rise in average temperatures or 0.6 deg C.

The resulting Climate sensitivity equation is then 0.3 for each 1.0 deg Celsius (expected rise) written as 0.3/1.0. Remember, we must now reduce this number by the known other drivers. 96% of all warming is not from CO2 emissions.

The rate of warming between 1910 and 1940 was greater than between 1980 and 2020 ... NOAA source ...

A chart that spans less than a decade is wholly ineffective, except to try and spread a false narratives about the current warming trend. In fact this technique of using a small selected period to try and claim world temperatures are not really rising, has been used in the recent past.

That was the stated premise of this thread ... no warming in 8 years, yet CO2 has been rising the whole time ... this is a counter-example to this part of AGW Theory ... if man-kind's carbon dioxide emissions are the ONLY control on surface temperature, then temperature should be rising with CO2 concentrations ... and that not happening ...

Nothing wrong with their theory. There was warming in those eight years. There would be no straight line on a temperature graph showing the effects of CO2 because the temperature varies slightly each day and each year. But maybe it's a turning point and the slope of the average goes negative instead of continuing on it's positive path, which is more likely than not.
