Come on, man. We've heard all the rhetoric, scaremongering, and Chicken Little stories before. More convincing folks than yourself have already tried to muddy up Trump's water for the last 8 years, and it's not going to work this time either.

I am fine with the tariffs on China. What I have an issue with is alienating our Allies, starting a nonsensical trade war with them, gutting our soft power, I.e. US Aid and other foreign aid, and destroying US credibility by withdrawing from treaties that we negotiated. These are all actions that reduce American power.

All of that deficit trading as we build up their economies and they can be socialist with benefits to their people while we lost out and are forced to defend them more. You want to live with your comforts as most o fu want, well we have to break a few eggs which are expensive to keep them.

China is already whining loudly over a simple 10% (more) tariff. Trump has an opportunity to pay back China for all the harm they have done to America, the West and global institutions. They've done far worse than anything Trump could do through tariffs alone.

Don't care. Trudeau's government has still been raping us with their tariffs. He needs to be forced out and Canada needs to trade with us on an equitable basis. The Biden administration allowed Canada to run rampant on us while they put tariffs on American goods.
