Chick-fil-A restaurant in CA will pay employees $17 an hour

No back up for your claims?

Weird, it's like you're arguing from a position of ignorance.
A position of make believe.

Chick isn't paying $17.00/hr?

Why do you hate the American worker? Are you a tRump/Putin commie?4

One store is going to pay that. You can't say that Chik Fil a pays that.

Chick-fil-A stores and operations are corporate owned. The operator is nothing but a manager, but is called an operator to eliminate them from being an employee.
You're lying once again..

Chick-fil-A Reaches Milestone with 2,000th Restaurant Opening

The majority of the chain’s 2,000 restaurants are locally owned and operated by an independent franchisee who oversees day-to-day activities at the restaurant and makes all employment and community involvement decisions.

How can it be locally owned when the operator has no financial interest?, other than paying $10G for a job.

The dirty secret is out, fast food CAN pay $17.00/hr!

Like the majority of wealthy in the US. Why do you think Bill Gates is a Nevada corporation?

Why do you think Bill Gates is a Nevada corporation?

It's not to save on Federal Income Taxes.

Why do you think?

Sure it is. With tRumps corporate giveaway, corporate tax is 1.5% of total revenue.
Why are you comparing the tax to total revenue?

Expenses for corporations are calculated as a percentage of total revenue.

Corporations pay 1.5% of total revenue to the feds, you pay 12.5% of total income to federal taxes. Feel better now?

And one manner is going to try paying a higher wage. Apparently, to the less intellectually rigorous, that means the entire food business can double wages overnight. You're still stealing from those restaurants and not providing any value. Stop it.

Employers are stealing from their employees. How much in profits did American corporations make last year?

How much, as a percentage of sales?

Yes, true. It's hard for those who never had real jobs to realize this, as they know nothing at all about running businesses, they're like the Mitt Romney's, they just want bigger dividends and market bubbles, and they see paying wages as unnecessary drains on their returns. They think all economies should use the lowest wages on the planet as the standard for the rest of the world. they think this because they're stupid, and because they read it somewhere and it sounds good to them.

Then, in other threads, they will turn around and whine about the low wage workers not paying any taxes n stuff. It's hilarious how stupid they can get, but hey, it's about ideology, not real life, when you live in the Burbs.

Yes, and labor costs for the front end workers are rarely more than 7-10%, despite all the noise and fake numbers managerial accounting dreams up to charge off on that line item. Funny how we kept getting a lot closer to that '$10 dollar hamburger' anyway right wingers kept spraying around like they knew something, when minimum wage was frozen at $6 an hour or so for decades. Actual time studies present an entirely different cost increase range, but then they're not designed to produce lies for the company tax returns.

People will cry about minimum wage being adjusted to reflect real inflation, but no threads here on CEO and management bonuses heading for the Blue Sky ranges, for no increase in skill or value to the company.

You go guys! Keep the Golden State, golden!

Everything good for workers and consumers comes from California.

I think we broke him.

He has to get up early to peel the potatoes.

That vodka won't make itself.

I just hope he scrubs the toilets after he peels the potatoes, not before.
