Pookie gets blasted slinging rock on a streetcorner. The cops have no witnesses, because Stop Snitchin' is a thing, so have nothing to go on. They know in their heart of hearts that Pookie caught a bullet for being on the wrong streetcorner and his killer was black like Pookie, but without an actual suspect, they can't say.

Same thing when Bobby Joe ends up dead in a trailer park. The killer is probably white, but without anything more to go on than Bobby Joe got stabbed a bunch of times and left behind his trailer, there's another unsolved crime.

It doesn't mean anything beyond the police have no suspect, so no way to classify one.

Pookie gets blasted slinging rock on a streetcorner. The cops have no witnesses, because Stop Snitchin' is a thing, so have nothing to go on. They know in their heart of hearts that Pookie caught a bullet for being on the wrong streetcorner and his killer was black like Pookie, but without an actual suspect, they can't say.

Same thing when Bobby Joe ends up dead in a trailer park. The killer is probably white, but without anything more to go on than Bobby Joe got stabbed a bunch of times and left behind his trailer, there's another unsolved crime.

You've got quite an imagination but you still did not address the possibility that some of those unsolved homicides must occur virtually under the noses of police officers. Surely the retort of gunfire would draw their attention if they are anywhere nearby. Plus, I wouldn't rule out police involvement in some of those murders.

Long gone are the days when police officers would rapidly race to the sounds of gunfire. Now, they wait for the shooting to stop, then give a little extra time for the perps to vacate the area, then they will go in and check the victims. That is the new reality. Your assertion that cops are murdering people is not born out by fact. Yes, police officers do indeed kill people who should not be killed. That is a given, but the numbers are small. I absolutely agree with you. But they kill a lot more whiteys than they do blacks. It is not a racism issue, it is a power issue. Police, especially corrupt police forces, are very difficult to reign in. They don't care what color you are, they only care that they have power over you.
