chauvin juror could cause appeal

The videos convicted him, he hardly needed a jury.
How do videos convict him? What makes you think kneeling on someone is deadly? Its not and THIS video proves it.

Godboy, this has been decided and that you are unhappy means nothing about the truth of it.

Sheesh! I would be embarrassed if that ^ post was my best response to a video of someone being knelt on for 9 minutes without any issues whatsoever.

Your statement about should embarrass you. Floyd has many issues with being knelt on to the point was Chauvin was convicted. He will be convicted every time if that video is shown. That you disagree is immaterial to the issue.

That YOU disagree is also immaterial to the issue. Chauvin will now likely get a new trial, regardless of the fact that you dont like it.

I don't care if he gets one, because I have full confidence he will be convicted once again on all charges, as he should be.

Good, then you can stop whining about it then.

Nope. As you keep being asinine about it, I will respond.

The judge in the Chauvin trial already stated Maxine Waters tainted the trial with her YUGE YAP inciting protestors.

And yet did nothing. He put on a show trial.

And what should he have done? Dismissed all charges?

Mistrial. Its a rule of law.

Mistrial because Maxine ran her mouth? Really? So when a cop killer is on trial as long as someone in the press says let him go we have to declare a mistrial every single time someone runs their mouth?

1:17:00 or so in shows that a knee to the nape of the neck does nothing. Having a drug overdose, having heart disease, being obese, etc. adds unexpected variables though since being immobilized after fighting with multiple cops is more than what most perps' cardio system can handle.

Ok. Let’s run an experiment. Let’s get someone who doesn’t like you to kneel on your kids neck. How long before you are shouting to get off of them? Want to bet you would not last as long as Floyd?

So now this 6 foot something 200lb adult man is a "kid"? Grasping at straws are we?

No. But the truth remains. If any of you saw your child pinned to the ground like that claiming they could not breathe you would commit ten murders to get the guy off of them. It wouldn’t matter if your child was 2 or 22 you would be apocalyptically determined to save them.

You certainly would not be here shouting they deserved it would you?

Really? I would be slapping mine silly and making him do what the police told him to do. And you? Filming it?

Ok. Floyd was in handcuffs. Laying on the ground. His struggles had ended. What more could he do to comply? Well there was one thing. And he did it. He died.

Floyd was on the ground. He was handcuffed.

The videos convicted him, he hardly needed a jury.

Doesn't matter. The definition of a "fair" trial for these people is one where Chauvin walks. Why? Because Floyd was a flawed person and therefore has no rights except to be killed.
He chose his future when he put 3 times the lethal dose of fentanyl in his body. Why do you loons make the worse of our society, your roll models?
Well unfortunately for you loons, that wasnt the cause of death.

Do you limit rights to just those you aporove of?

In addition to the BLM juror...plenty of reason as you will soon see libber.

He died when the baggie exploded in his stomach....and no constant refusal to be arrested, no knee at all. You get what you deserve.

He never killed any cops, and he didn't kill the thug being arrested either.

And when a criminal has finally stopped resisting it is the police obligation to keep him that way.

Honest thinkers seek law enforcement
Dubious feelers want law counseling

And it is also the police obligation to not kill unresisting people.

The cause of death was a drug overdose. He was saying he couldn't breath before Chauvin put his knee on his back.

You should tell that to the coroner, you clearly know more than he does without even having examined him.

He had 3 times a lethal dose in his system of fentanyl. What part of that can't you see?
Let me ask you, if the same happened to Ben Carson. Would you be saying the same? Be honest.

He had 3 times the lethal dose of fentanyl in his system, of course he died. Chauvin had his knee on his shoulder. He did what he was trained to do.

Floyd was on the ground. He was handcuffed.

So presumably once Floyd was handcuffed it was the officer's responsibility to ensure his safety?

We need to remember that when police officers take a prisoner into custody they have just become “short term” corrections (custody) officers
This statement sometimes surprises street officers who often don’t understand all the implications of having a prisoner in their “custody.” It doesn’t matter whether you are a police officer transporting a prisoner from a street arrest scene, a police officer picking up a prisoner for court, a police officer transporting a sick inmate, a detective taking a prisoner out of lock up to a remote site for an interview, or an airport police officer holding a person for transport, you are now responsible for that prisoner’s “care and wellbeing.”
Understanding this concept will keep you safer—both physically and legally. Police officers, once you take a subject into custody that person becomes a prisoner. He or she is now in custody and you are totally responsible for their “care and wellbeing” until such time as you request additional assistance and find other law enforcement, medical healthcare professionals, or mental health professional to assist you or are able to turn the prisoner over to other appropriate public safety professionals. In other words, YOU ARE IT. You need to understand this and understand how to do your job properly, legally, and safely. Once you take the subject into custody you are, in fact, a correctional (custody) officer with all the responsibilities an officer working in a custody assignment has. You need to understand the rules and learn how to play the game—a game that can cost you money, your job, and even your freedom if you don’t do it well. Welcome to the wonderful word of corrections.

"In your care and custody": When police officers become corrections officers

He had 3 times the lethal dose of fentanyl in his system, of course he died. Chauvin had his knee on his shoulder. He did what he was trained to do.

Except his superiors said that was against policy.

That trial was a clown show.

Yes, it is a clown show to have a trial when you have the person on tape doing exactly what he is accused of.

Chauvin's lawyers probably should have tried for a plea bargain or went for a bench trial. They thought they could sway a jury.

Now, old adage of lawyers, When the law is on your side, go to a judge. When you are appealing to emotions, go to a jury.

The law clearly wasn't on his side, and his appeal to the jury, "I am the thin blue line that protects you from THEM" didn't fly in this case.
