LOL wow the CDC is in full panic mode. Other highly vaccinated countries have already published studies of how deaths from non-COVID causes are raising, and they are stumped on the reason. Heart attacks, strokes, are all on the rise in vaccinated.

It usually takes ten years to study new drugs / vaccine types before they are declared “safe” and approved. But now with communist scumbags running everything, it’s all about controlling the human population. Fauci himself in 2019 said mRNA vaccines would be a decade away for approval, even if “perfect”. These vaccines are showing very disturbing short term effects, and all the sheep that volunteered to get their Big Pharma shots are the Guinea pigs for long term side effects.

How many millions of stone fucking dumb Americans will believe it and roll their sleeves right up? I am ashamed to be a member of the modern human race.

On a slightly different but related note, my wife went by her parents' home last night, which in and of its self wouldn't be a remarkable event—at least not in normal times. However, she's not seen them in months due to their hatred of the unvaccinated, which we both are. Both her parents are scheduled to get the booster jab in a week's time. All they could talk about at dinner, she said, was the "science" behind the COVID vaccines. They kept telling her to "follow the science".

They also hounded her relentlessly about her compromised immune system as being the prime reason she needed to go out get the COVID jab RIGHT NOW. See, my wife is a childhood leukemia survivor, so they might not be far off about her immune system, although she almost never gets sick. The point of this post? My wife's own parents are trying to cajole, coerce, terrify and all but force their oldest daughter to get jabbed . . . for fucking political reasons. I am through with them. They want to get her killed.

People who truly understand the nature of science know fully well that there is no such thing as ''the science.''

The very nature of science demands that there are always more questions to be asked. That's what science is. It's about asking more questions.

To contend that they have all of the answers and that no more questions need asking is antithetical to science itself and the height of both arrogance an pseudo-intellectualism.

Respectfully speaking, since we're talking about your in-laws here, people who spew such things should not even participate in any discussion regarding the sciences.

Ultimately people will lose trust in genuine science as a consequence of the unenlightened knuckle-draggers who just repeat what political scientists train them to repeat on their idiot boxes.

It's laughable. I can't count how many times I've wanted to just lay int osome quisling on here whenever they pop off with that nonsense about ''follow the science.''

Thank you for speaking respectfully of them, even though my respect for them has all but evaporated. What get's me most on this issue, regarding her parents, is their education level and professional backgrounds. He is a retired chemical engineer and she is a retired accountant and public school teacher. They've dedicated both of their lives to science. Now they've abandoned it for some kind of pseudo political cult.

The reality is that the special interest institutions hijacked science for their own purposes a long time ago. Employment with them means very little in that regard. All it really means is that one exists to tow the line for a paycheck.

We need to take science back from the institutions.

Ironically, that's a discusson I've been meaning to initiate on the board but just never got around to it.

People, especially the vaccinated, are deferring medical treatment or going to the ER if all possible because they are afraid they will catch COVID in the hospital. Deferring that treatment causes them to die of their untreated issues. People with vaccines having heart problems and such not as afraid to go to the doctor/ER. No surprises there.

The parents are worried about the health and safety of their child. Your opinion, Karen, doesn't seem to be well accepted among your in-laws. They are probably right.

What I found humorous in the so-called 'study' that was provided in the source of the op...

''no studies comparing mortality rates within the general population of vaccinated and unvaccinated persons have been conducted.''

Heh heh.

Follow the science...

What was humorous about that quote? I took it to mean that this study was the first to compare those rates. The full sentence ran like this, "A cohort study of 19,625 nursing home residents found that those who received an mRNA vaccine (Pfizer-BioNTech or Moderna) had lower all-cause mortality than did unvaccinated residents (5), but no studies comparing mortality rates within the general population of vaccinated and unvaccinated persons have been conducted." In other words, while a nursing home resident study comparing mortality rates between vaccinated and unvaccinated subjects has been done, such a study with the general population has not; hence this study. :dunno:

Sounds like a snake oil salesmen telling you if you take this tonic it will protect you against all kinds ails. It reads like they are now just making shit up to get trick people into taking it.

At some point we will start seeing covid vaccine banner ads on porn sites "The miracle covid vaccine that makes your cock bigger by 67%" and ads on vogues website "Ladies lose that stubborn belly fat with covid vaccines".
