That's 125%.
You are mistaken again. Go look.
Xi is being squeezed by the trump tariffs
Could an invasion of Taiwan be the chicoms next move?
Its a common tactic of dictatorships under pressure
So it's our fault shitheads at the highest levels of government sold us out?China has born watching closely for about 50 years. Sometimes I feel like I'm the only one who seems to see it. I must say that if ever there was anyone who deserved bitten in the ass hard by China, it is the United States for spending the last two generations busting our hump to create them.
I say Trump will give him a pretty good anyways. All the hype will have been for naught.China can't afford a war with its best customer.
I bet Xi folds.
So it's our fault shitheads at the highest levels of government sold us out?
We heard all about how he was going to do that in his first term, when he was the Peace President.I hope not.
Trump would in a heart beat.
They took that from us in the 1980s. Biden and friends voted themselves The Lords of The United States during Reagan's 2nd Congress I think..Don't quote me on the 2nd thing.Partly, in that we should have some say in how our country is run as we are based on a representative government. Mostly not though in that we have little representation. That said, those shitheads built China into the superpower that it is, and now lives as the monster in our closet.
And then over two centuries ago people moved there, then those people want to remain part of the British Empire.
Fuck Argentina on this, hell I'm surprised you support their previous military Junta's attempt to take the Islands by force back in the 80's.
~~~~~~Really? This meaningless woman has only 8700 followers and you think she's an expert. Dream on.
A very poor comparison contrast without a point.~~~~~~
I guess no one remembers Tokyo Rose, or Axis Annie..
They had larger audiences...
Well, funny thing. Before the Junta tried that, the UK was willing to give the Islands back to them.
The Milk-Snatcher Thatcher decided she needed to look tough.
But I think the guy who put it best was Argentine Author Jorge Luis Borges, who said the Falklands War was like "Two Bald men fighting over a comb"
The Islanders didn't want to leave the UK.
So what if they didn't. Sometimes you have to do a cost-benefit analysis.
The UK's Defense Of The Falkland Islands Costs A Staggering Amount Per Islander
The Falkland Islands' unique costs and economic challenges reveal the complexities of living in this remote territory.www.businessinsider.com
McSmith reports that the military in the area will cost the UK £61 million ($96 million) in 2012-13, which is expected to increase by £2 million ($3.14 million) each year.
While in the grandiose world of military budgets that might not be that much, when you look at the cost per British citizen on the Falklands, it works out at more than a whopping £20,000 or $31,000 (and that is only the defense budget, other costs will be born on other budgets).
The purpose of the government is to protect its citizens. They didn't want to be part of Argentina.
Then resettle them in England where they came from.
The cost of the Falkland's War in terms of both human lives and treasure far exceeded any value they had. For the Billion dollars the UK spent fighting the war, they could have given each Falklander a million dollars to resettle somewhere nice.
Some of them had and have been there for centuries.
Sorry but the Argentinians only cared as a bread and circus issue to placate their own people over the whole Junta thing.
Oh, I agree, the Junta was looking for a distraction, but it doesn't mean the Argentinians didn't have a legitimate claim to the Malvinas.
