Leaving aside that China has every right to re-assert her sovereignty over a break-away province, Trump's tariffs aren't going to hurt China that much.

China will still get paid for its widgets, Americans will just pay more for them.

I'd be more worried about Trump starting a war with someone like a cheap Reality TV stunt.

China has no right to enslave 25 million Taiwanese anymore than they are entitled to rule any of the smaller nations bordering the South China Sea

Friends of America don't have tariffs on Americans and Americans don't have tariffs on their friends.
