CBS Breaking News: Trump Leads Clinton By 5+ Points In Key Battleground State Of Pennsylvania

So polls are relevant again.

Okay, got it.
.

The "science" of polling is like the "science" of Astrology.....dubious at best. Fraudulent at worst.

I trust one poll and one poll only. It will be conducted on November 8th.

Here's an excellent article that explains why the polls are no longer reliable.....Why the polls get it wrong

You are skeptical of polling because your boy is getting hammered in the polls.

If Birfer Trump was up 5-7 into of being down 5-7, you wouldn't be posting these articles.

From your article.

We should consider the source before trusting a poll, much like we do stock market tips or sports picks. Polling organizations that are members of American Assn. for Public Opinion Research's Transparency Initiative provide a standard level of technical disclosure about their methods for anyone who is interested in getting into the weeds.

Totally agree.

The guys from 538 also agree.

And in their model, using polls which abide by these principles, Birfer Trump is losing by even worse than the RCP averages.

Nice try, but you're wrong. I am skeptical of the polls because of the reasons articulated in the article and because they have been wrong. If the polls showed Trump winning by 5 points I'd still be skeptical.

You've quoted an opinion piece that relies on anecdotes.

Most polls are correct within the margin of error.

That's why Nate Silver was able to call almost every race in 2012. And there were hundreds. All he did was look at the numbers.

Sorry.

I think that Trump may have found his destiny. GOVERNOR OF PENNSYLVANIA! Of course, he would have to move there, and I don't see that happening....

Oh good, another poll.

When they favor your candidate you're all "rah rah sis boom bah", but when they are against your candidate you're all "oh god, not another one". Why is that? Your propaganda not working?

Both sides do the same thing.

That is true to a point. The progressives though, they take it to a new level.
Depends on your perspective. From the perspective of proressives, conservatives and the GOP 'take it to a new level.'

That's true. But progressives are KNOWN to be hyperbolic in nature. Just sayin...

Again, it is a matter of perspective. Progressives would say, and believe, the same of conservatives.

No. Both sides don't do it equally. That's a mainstream media cop out. One side does it more. They just do.

No one in american society is willing to own up to anything, that's how we got here, it is always someone else's fault. So the best you will ever hear is that "sure we're shitty, but the other guys are shittier". Hell of a system for such an "exceptional" bunch of hominids bombing others for resources and profit.
