Donald Trump holds a commanding 50-point lead over Ron DeSantis and Nikki Haley among Republican primary voters in Michigan, most of whom believe Trump’s false claims about the 2020 election and say he “did nothing wrong” in his response, according to a Washington Post-Monmouth University poll.

Almost 8 in 10 Democratic primary voters support President Biden for their party’s nomination, although Democrats are much less enthusiastic about Biden than Republicans are about Trump.
The Post-Monmouth poll finds 63 percent of potential Republican primary voters in Michigan support former president Trump for the party’s nomination, compared with 13 percent who support former U.N. ambassador Haley and 13 percent who back DeSantis, Florida’s governor.

We did not get public health care, but mandatory private health insurance instead.
We did not stop adding to the national debt.
We did not stop China from eating our lunch, like Apple making cellphones in China, without tariffs.
Halley was in the thick of it in the UN.
And she clearly got paid off:

Since then, Haley’s net worth has ballooned from less than $1 million to an estimated $8 million. How did she make so much money in so little time? By following a tried-and-true playbook for politicians looking to cash in on their fame. Speeches to companies like Barclays and organizations such as the Centre for Israel and Jewish Affairs provided more money in a day than Haley had previously earned in a year. It’s not clear how many talks she gave from 2019 to 2021, but Haley hauled in $2.3 million from just 11 events in 2022.
