Cat Lovers Thread

Wow! That was super! I envy those cats. When can I move in? And did you see how they were right in there directing that guy that this is what they wanted and needed and for him to build it.

They were directing the job!

Nail by nail. Funny though that humans end up being the gods to cats and dogs and other pets creating the perfect world for them (more or less) that a lot of people on Earth expect and fault the real God for not creating as the world for people.

LOL!

Honestly, never really too big a problem for me! They put up a fight, but knew to listen to me (up to a point) and I knew how to gently but firmly hold their heads to open their jaws and keep they teeth apart too all with one hand while I fired the pill in with the other!

Benefits of big hands.

Of course, you point their nose up and rub their throat a little to coax them to swallow.

Then there is the ol' pill hidden in the ham or cheese trick--- that'll work on a dog but cats ferret out the game. They won't likely fall for it. They ain't that desperate to eat plus they know something must be up if you are GIVING them ham and cheese!

My little secret is that if they started putting up too much a fight and started really giving me trouble, I tightened my grip even tighter and they found out real fast it was a losing battle. I mean, they knew that I could pick them up with one hand by the head right off the ground if I wanted to.

And I got them in a special position with me seated behind them, them between my knees looking the other way. Soon as they saw that position coming they knew something big was coming.

That and I was sneaky and quick about it so that it was over before they really had a chance of resisting. :SMILEW~130:

Cats know exactly what they are doing. They know you are doing something else and want THEM to be the center of attention.

The problem is clear... we must kill all of the cats.
These gentlement want to have a word with you....

So... you don't agree that cats know what they are doing or didn't you realize my post was just a joke?

Time and again, cats will get in the way, disrupt what you are doing, EXACTLY to force you to turn your attention on them.

I know you were joking, hence my pic.

Not ALL cats are like that. I've had a few cats that are "non-cat-like" cats.
Like my current cat, Hunk the Chunk. He is SO anti-cat like, it makes my friend upset, cause her cat is VERY cat-like in all ways.
LOL

Hunk sleeps, then wakes up, stretches, goes back to sleep..........wakes up, yawns, stretches, eats or goes potty.......then it's back to bed.
He's only 4 years old.

It would probably be a good idea to give him daily exercise by engaging him with some toys and play. All my cats were free-ranging cats, they lived in the house but were free to come and go as they pleased though they generally stuck in the yard close to the house, but in their youth, they did roam far and wide and sewed their oats.
