Well, after all, Skye, cats were not put on this Earth to perform for you, to be cute, or to be your friend. They have enough issues to deal with as it is. Frankly, they only accept you as coming with the job, part of the deal, just so long as you hold up your end with the food and shelter, and a few rubs don't hurt none much neither.
