“You catch them on Monday morning and they’re out on the streets Monday afternoon,” Graham said.

While Wray did not directly answer Graham’s question, he suggested that “one of the causes of the violent crime spike are certain kinds of prosecution practices,” adding that “there’s nothing more disheartening to a law enforcement officer to see somebody that you worked hard to arrest promptly back out committing a crime again.”

Facts First: There’s no clear evidence linking bail reforms – which have been in place for years in some cities – to the recent rise in violent crimes. In fact, the majority of cities that have seen increases in crime have not eliminated cash bail. Many variables have contributed to the increases Graham is referencing but CNN has seen no evidence to suggest that bail reform is a major factor.

Bannon gets our because his pocket money and gets a good deal to begin with. He has an appeal but probably would schedule it, he is out on until his appeal goes on. His talk is bad enough to do some vicious harm to someone.

All the rich get out, cash bail doesn't belong to the rich, now you gotta have money to get out of jail.

What do you think the result will be of turning criminals loose, over and over again?

It truly takes an extraordinary, Penelope-level degree of stupid to fail to see the connection between such policies, and the obvious results thereof.

The level of no self-awareness displayed by the OP is unfortunately not surprising.
Ignoring the carnage carried out by the demented criminals automatically released after committing crime after crime is incredibly dangerous and illogical.
Grow a brain, Petunia!

Bail doesn't let criminals out.

It allows people to remain free until the courts deal with their cases.

In America, you are innocent until proven guilty.

Yep, sometimes it's just fucked up judges that are the problem.

You have no credibility whatsoever on this topic.

You've made it absolutely clear, over and over and over again, that you are on the side of subhuman criminal shit, and against the side of human beings.

Every policy position that you have ever expressed relevant to this subject, favors criminals, and is harmful to humans. There is no reason to suppose that you will ever take a position that is otherwise.

Perhaps, somewhere, out there, there is a forum that is specifically for criminals and their allies; you would fit in much better on such a forum, than on this one.

Just don't let the let rich get out of jail. They have money. They can be serial killers, among other things and they can cause a man with lies threaten cause another mans or women's life.

and it some prosecutors but cast bail not the cuprite you magas think it is.

Are you telling me you can't afford bail, you go to jail??

Penelope must be hitting the drugs harder than usual this morning. It's noticeable that just in the roughly hour and a half since it started this thread, its level of literacy and coherence has declined very sharply. It might even have been sober when it woke up, but it sure is not now. Just looking at the sequence of its posts in this thread, you can see the mind-destroying drugs taking effect.

I don't do drugs or alcohol. Yes sure, deprecate the OP.

Are you telling me you can't afford bail you have to spend time in jail until 1 year and 1/2 later your trial comes up.

Didn't go to the link, did ya? Commie judges in Houston are giving low bail to violent criminals. One accused of capital murder was given low bail and in short order went on to kill an innocent grandmother. It's a simple concept, you keep violent criminals off the streets, if they pose an ongoing threat to the community, with bail they can't make. That prevents more violence. The organization I linked was started to oust soft on criminals commiecrat judges.

Um how do you explain bail? It only lets those that have no criminal record out? If you have a record you are considered a criminal. If you have be convicted in a court of law of say, breaking and entering you are in fact a criminal. You can be brought up on other charges and be given bail but you are still a criminal.

The NY laws are really screwed up. When a judge can't consider an individuals danger to the community when setting bail, that undercuts the whole criminal justice system. The NY legislature needs to be replaced with people with a freaking brain.
