So why not say to me, Esay is a huge fan of the Taliban?
Actually, no. Why should I? But these guys won a decades long civil war in their country, with heavy foreign meddling. Now it is their country and their rules.

But yes, indeed, there are a couple of things I like about these guys. First, they outlaw and eradicate the bacha bazi tradition that existed in Afghanistan for centuries. Second, they have a negative stance toward drug production and root out poppy fields.

WOW, and then Esay praised the Taliban.

You seem upset when Afghanistan managed to get freedom.
When exactly? Under the Soviet or American occupation?

Actually, I am upset that there is a great deal of grown-up kids with total inability of critical thinking and thus repeating false narratives over and over again.

Ironic how Carter is demonized, but the Right lionizes Reagan for continuing Carter's economic policies and his treasonous deals with terrorists and running a drugs and gun smuggling crime syndicate from the White House.

Carter let his antisemitism and hatred of Israel cloud his judgement and led to the failure of the hostage rescue operation, and his continuation of the trend to technocratic economic fantasies fashionable with both Democrats and Republican monopolists and bankers made him a bad President, but not the worst choice nor a criminal. He inherited a Republican disaster that couldn't be fixed in four years.
