Carly Fiorina's "child".

You should be banned again

this is as low as you on the left can crawl. but you went after Palin's down syndrome baby. Rick Santorum and how they grieved over their baby who died. and this is the people and party you want running our Government and lives?

seriously

this op should be ignored by EVERYONE on here

That decision is not for you to make, you vicious, whacked out ****.

He didn't attack Carly Fiorina's step-daughter. He attacked Carly herself for portraying her step-daughter as if she were a small child. And taking illegal drugs. And neither is true.

Who the fuck cares?

Enough people care to come to this thread.... like you yourself... :D

Amazingly, the previous conserve-hate-ive standard for "childhood" was 26 or younger:

26 year old children? That explains dummies like you.

Most thinking people don't consider a 21 year old, let alone a 26 year old adult a "kid."

Now a 35 y/o "child" is no problem.

Just pointing out the GOP hypocrisy and double-standard. It's disappointing that Carly said that.

Wait. You don't expect Righties to actually remember what they wrote yesterday or last year, right?

They get automatic absolution from Jeebus, you know.

and if a child is 14 and brings a clock to school said child is an"awesome adult terrorist"....

and if a child of 12 , Black of course, is playing in a park with a toy gun as children often do then the Police had no choice but to gun down the "man child"

Ms. Fiorina often makes mention of a child she buried because of drug abuse.

Turns out the "child" was a step-daughter who was 35 and died from alcoholism and prescription drugs.

Fiorina talks about her daughter’s struggles with alcohol, prescription pills and bulimia that led to her death at age 35. It’s at the end of the prologue that Fiorina first unites the personal with the political: “Lori’s potential was never fulfilled but death is not the only thing that crushes potential. … What I also know is that Americans are failing to achieve their potential today.”

Carly Fiorina Gets Personal in New Book

Interesting. At 35, I would think that a person is no longer a "child".

At the same time, a parent's love to his or her child never ends. So, I cannot fault Fiorina for what she said. It's a moving moment.

At 35, I would think that a person is no longer a "child".

No matter how old a mother is, you will always be a 'child to her'.

My mother passed at the age of 88, and my youngest brother was still her 'baby'.

Go back and read my posting again. I think I indicated that as well.

I read your post, I even agreed with you...

except for the part about her calling her daughter a child.

No matter how successful, no matter how important...

You will always be a child to your mother, and possibly your father.

My 63 y/o brother was still a baby to my mother when she passed.

My wife refers to our youngest as her baby girl.

I have no problem with Carly referring to her 35 y/o daughter a child.

It's a term some mothers never give up.

I'm only watching this thread to see how ridiculous it can get.

Lots of laughs so far

Her stepdaughter dies from alcohol and prescription drugs and that's her argument for keeping marijuana illegal?

Wouldn't that be an argument for bringing back Prohibition?

Actually, that was not used as an argument for keeping marijuana illegal. It is her argument for investing more into the treatment of drug addiction.

She never said that her daughter used marijuana. She did say that smoking marijuana is different from drinking a beer and that marijuana today is different from how it was 40 years ago. Those are both true statements.

Fiorina's opposition to recreational marijuana may be misguided, but let's debate on the issues rather than focusing on bullshit such as whether she misspoke in some way about her step-daughter's death.

I believe I indicated just that, with "At the same time, a parent's love to his or her child never ends. "

I just worded it differently.

I care that some idiot is dragging Fiorina's through the mud about sharing her personal loss and trying to relate it to the issues.

I don't care about whether Fiorina's called her 35 year old stepdaughter as "my husband and I buried a child".

She tied marijuana to drug addiction, implied it was more dangerous than alcohol.

I just worded it differently.

"At 35, I would think that a person is no longer a "child"."

Is what I was referring to.

I even quoted it.

Ahhh, but I qualified it with the sentence that followed.

Discernment, Will, discernment.

I am not your enemy. Well, at least not here and not today.

Wanna grab a beer?

Coffee, maybe.

Stopped drinking in my early 40s.

Didn't like the taste any more.

She tied marijuana to drug addiction? What a lying bitch. After all Obama's government says 1 in 11 users become addicted. Since Obama's government said it, it must be a lie.

Marijuana

Then again, you are literally the dumbest person on this site and probably don't even know what that symbol is, you just like the pretty colors.

WillHaftawaite quoted your post 5 minutes before you added that part. At the time he quoted your post, it only contained the first sentence.

Fact check rates your statement true but misleading.
