Barnhart’s identity was revealed when members of the online community found a clear image of his face from a photo of the crowd that gathered at the "Save America" rally, which occurred moments before the attack. By plugging his face into a reverse image search, online community members were then able to uncover him on several bodybuilder sites in Michigan and identify his name. This ultimately led them to find his Instagram account, which featured images of him wearing the same outfit he wore on Jan. 6.

A social media post from July 2019 depicted him wearing the same American flag he wore to the Capitol. Another post from August 2020 showed him in the Caterpillar sweatshirt.

In addition to identifying photos, Barnhart’s Twitter confirmed he planned to be at the Capitol before the insurrection. In response to a tweet by Donald Trump promoting Jan. 6 as a “Historic day,” Barnhart replied, “I’ll be there.”

The article goes on to state that Barnhart's violent spree continued after January 6. Literally, they said this was violence: "He even posted a video of himself at Walmart gloating about being the only person not wearing a mask."

One of the factoids that one can glean from the SeditionInsiders page is that they have video or still photos that show at least 1,569 invaders illegally entered the Capitol.

That is the highest number I have seen.
Some days ago there were exchanges about that number. What was the correct quantity? I thought I had read that the FBI had counted about 900 entering, but when another poster queried me on where I got that number.....well, I couldn't find it.

And now we have 1,569 from these amateur internet sleuths

I'd suggest to all contributors or lurkers here to open up that Sedition Hunters website and peruse the rows and rows of pictures of perpetrators. If you see someone you recognize....well, you may want to alert them that their mug is on the internet and folks are lookin' for 'em.

They may want to lawyer up, and be pro-active by going to authorities first. Before that feared knock-on-the-door gets to 'em first.
