On the brighter side: I'm 72.
You’ve got me by ten years, but we all (99%) would benefit from a government and economic system that benefits us, rather than just the 1%.
Like what? Please enlighten us as to what economic system is better than capitalism.
Maybe government controlled socialism? Like never worked anywhere?
Maybe government controlled communism? Like never worked anywhere?
Some people are always more equal than others.
Lol. This isn’t capitalism and you know it.
It most certainly is capitalism. We can buy any politicians we want, and make them make any laws we want.
Its the money driven political system that is the problem, not capitalism.
Maybe term limits and money limits is the answer?
What we have today is far from free market capitalism. It resembles Fascism, where big government and big business protect each other.
You almost proved my point for me. "Big business"
Boeing is more than big.
Apple is more than big
Tesla is more than big
The pharma industry is more than big
The banks are more than big
The government needs tax revenue, some comes from the businesses, most comes from the workers.
Big business doesn't protect government, it owns it outright, bought and paid for.
The democrats seem to be promoting fascism:
Fascism is a form of
liberal government that is a type of
one-party dictatorship. They work for a totalitarian one-party state. This aim is to prepare the nation for armed conflict, and to respond to economic difficulties.
Fascism puts nation
and often race above the individual.
There is no mention of economic system?? Fascism is a form of government.
