As a taxpayer I don't mind paying welfare especially in the world's wealthiest nation. This nation is awash in money. I agree with working but man 50 k is a kick in the face from the nation.

People leaving the workforce earlier would help. That opens up those jobs to others. Early to mif 50s is perfect. My son, 54, notified his HR lady this past Friday. Packed up his office and walked out. Filled out about 25 mins of paper work. He won't be showing up tomorrow. Winning.

I am going to lose my job also because of the Security Industrial Complex who I believe interferred in my interactions with healthcare providers. My ailment should have been dealt with 2+ years ago and I now finally after this much time receive some medication and more serious tests.

The OP is why we need people retiring earlier, not later in life. It does zero good to have people working longer. Then the higher paying jobs held by older workers up up more frequently.
