I don't see why Rump doesn't just do what he's tried to do as President and appoint himself as King of the Republican Party for Life. Even with a token Convention, the outcome will be the same. But he won't. It'll take away him getting in front of a crowd and that is what he lives for.

You have paid no attention to Trump since he started his run to become President. He was the underdog. Non Prog voters are the underdog. As soon as the media/entertainers opened their pie holes it was known. All they had to do was tone it down when Trump announced his goal to run for President. It has not stopped since then. That is not as much disrespectful towards him as it is to the people who voted for him. Which means someone is paying these people no matter what. and it tells you that a war is on.
