That depends. It takes weeks to get an appointment with a specialist here, but since there was no indication that a specialist was needed, he should have gone to a GP. Either way, he said he didn't even bother to try for an appointment so he has nothing to complain about anyway.But what you can then expect in the US is a very quick follow up with a primary care physician. That is FAR from guaranteed under "universal health care".
