Spot on analysis from Jon Stewart. The administration's leaders made outrageous claims about both Alex and Renee's deaths. Claimed both were domestic terrorists intending to murder ICE agents and had to be killed to save lives. Regardless of your opinions on culpability everyone knows those statements were emphatically not true. They made claims about Alex brandishing a weapon, Renee attacking agents who were digging their car out of the snow. Just brazen lies.

Can this administration ever be trusted? If they are so right then why lie about basic visual facts over and over which we can all see are lies?

Jon suggests that the most dangerous weapon to this regime is your iPhone. That is what they fear. Truth.

Jon Stewart on the ICE murder of Alex Pretti: “They’re lying. We saw it. That’s how brazen they lie when they know we’ve seen the truth. Imagine how they lie when there’s no evidence to contradict them. Maybe that explains why Alex Pretti really was a threat. Because he was brandishing a weapon. A handheld, aluminum, 1080p, 60fps weapon of mass illumination. Because there is nothing more dangerous to a regime predicated on lies than witnesses who capture the truth”

Says the side that still claims the car never hit the officer in the Goode case.

Dem Leaders: Finally one of those idiots got themselves killed. Are we out there across the media with our narrative and propaganda?

Dem Media: Yes we had that stuff written months ago, just waiting for someone to suicide themselves for the cause.

Dem Leaders: Meh, there's millions more Dem idiots where that fool came from. Let's hope a few more get gunned down before the midterms.

Dem Media: We'll keep fomenting hate for law enforcement.

This all was known about Trump for years. Sadly people don't care.

Yes it's bad. It's destroying the country.........

Is it worse than a president sending out someone to lie to the country under oath about illegal spying on citizens?

As I've noted many times, anything you ignore when your guy does it will only get worse with the next.

Before that neither side was countering the lie that God was instructing us to kill innocent people because their leader was creating WMD that were threatening to us.

This was the problem with the first killing. Trumps impulse is "never admit guilt or failure".

That works in certain situations, NOT when an American citizen is murdered and the video captured. The correct response to that is "we are going to do a thorough investigation to understand all of the details that might not be available with just the video" When they ask about ones opinion, you just respond, "in this instance, with the death of someone we dont want to weigh in or impact the objective finding. The video is heart wrenching". Or something to that effect.

Easy and you dont allow MSM and your opponents to profit from it. He is once again appealing to only his strongest supporters and it may grow smaller.

When dealing with foreign governments, fighting against China and addressing costs for drugs, food and housing, he can go hard and not back down.

Once death is concerned, especially with video evidence that garners millions of views worldwide, you need to be objective as there is little political benefit to make early judgements.

Trump administrations first impulse is to lie.

Immediately smear and spread misinformation about the victim.
MAGA needs their marching orders

Domestic Terrorist
Was planning an attack against ICE
Resisted arrest

Yeah, he suffered internal bleeding from a strong gust of wind according to Dems.
The same folks who told you he had internal bleeding said Alex brandished a weapon with intent to inflict mass murder on agents. That is the point of this thread. Not to rehash the killings but to ask you... how can you trust the information on "internal bleeding" when the same folks said:

  • Stephen Miller, the deputy chief of staff, called the victim “a domestic terrorist who tried to assassinate law enforcement”,
  • Kristi Noem, the homeland security secretary, accused him of perpetrating “the definition of domestic terrorism”.
  • Bovino, Border Patrol Chief, said the victim "approached Border Patrol with a 9mm" intending to "inflict maximum damage" and "massacre law enforcement".

Don't you think he knows this though? Or rather his handlers do?

I still think the obvious lying is a orwellian tactic to gaslight his supporters, and the entire country.

Both deaths involved obstruction of justice and resisting arrest. Both were armed one with a gun the other with a 4000 pound car. Both emotionally disturbed turned into political vigilantes and used as fodder for democrats trying to cover up the welfare fraud scandal. No other state has this problem.

Couldn't trust them before they killed Pretti.

Here are the indisputable facts. Guy was armed. Guy intervened in an arrest. Guy resisted. ICE responded in self-defense.

All the other patter is irrelevant. Comprende?
