Can We Stop The January 6 Witchhunt Circus???

All right, I give up. I admit defeat. It was a full scale invasion, the likes which haven't been seen since June 6, 1944 and we did it. You win.

I have a suggestion that might work. Send this to your representative in the House of Representatives.

"When will you people stop wasting our taxpayer dollars on your January 6 witchhunt Committee?"

You can use Twitter or go to their website and send it as an email.

How about sending one that says, "If you were involved, even in the background, resign and turn yourself in." I'll wait.

This whole Jan 6th thing has become a blessing. The more time, effort, and focus Democrats dump into this non event the less time, effort, and focus Democrats have to attack America with. Imagine all the things Democrats would have done more by now if not so tied to Jan 6th.

"81 million votes" my ass.

Let's get a better look at that crowd:

Gee, offhand I'd say that is not only more people than attended every one of Biddum and Kammy's rallies put together, but more than all the people who went to his inauguration and have come to see and hear him speak in person and on TV since, put together.

as if congress can only do one thing at a time.
Remember benghazi went on for four years, and it was the only thing congress did from 2012 to 2016.

Piglosi and Schumer will keep it in the fore until the Nov. elections. Never let a scandal go to waste. Trouble is, I don't think it will make a blip compared to the economy, foreign policy, covid response, illegal mandates and failures and the lack of response to BLM/Antifa. Jan 6 is much ado about NOTHING.

Yeah, in about 4 years after two more election cycles and another 6 or 7 investigations.

If more of them had voted twice, maybe Trump would have “won”.

That is true, for an entire year. Where is all that righteous indignation from the left. The only fatality that came from Jan. 6 was when a Piglosi gestapo summarily executed an unarmed protestor who was trespassing in a PUBLIC building. How about that? She wasn't a thug and she wasn't ODd on fentanyl either. You morons pick some real winners to follow.

One moment please - for what tyrant in the world do you work for - ¿who pays you? - so you try to fight against the democracy of the US-American republic from within the USA?

It's not a witch hunt, because their not looking for witches.

It's a select committee investigating a republic coup attempt.
I personally support peaceful demonstrations but oppose riots. Jan. 6th was a riot therefore I oppose it. People who participated in that riot and damaged property or attacked the police should be arrested and prosecuted. The same should apply to the BLM and Antifa riots.

However to call the Jan. 6th riot an insurrection is in my opinion a stretch. No firearms were found on the protestors and few even bothered to disguise their faces. Once in the Capitol building the protestors largely wandered around without any plan of attack. There obviously was no preplanning involved. If the protestors had cornered the Congress critters the armed police could have stopped them quickly with their firearms.

Yes it is a select committee. A very select committee. A bunch of Democrats and a couple of “Never Trump” Republicans. To me it is a kangaroo committee much like a kangaroo court.

Perhaps when the Republicans regain control of the House after the Midterms they will have a real investigation and address the evidence that the FBI was involved in inciting the mob.

The Cambridge Dictionary defines “insurrection” as: “an organized attempt by a group of people to defeat their government and take control of their country, usually by violence”

By that definition, there was no “insurrection” at the United States Capitol on Jan. 6, according to the FBI. Reuters reports:

The FBI has found scant evidence that the Jan. 6 attack on the U.S. Capitol was the result of an organized plot to overturn the presidential election result, according to four current and former law enforcement officials.

"Ninety to ninety-five percent of these are one-off cases," said a former senior law enforcement official with knowledge of the investigation. "Then you have five percent, maybe, of these militia groups that were more closely organized. But there was no grand scheme with Roger Stone and Alex Jones and all of these people to storm the Capitol and take hostages."

In mid June, Revolver News published a groundbreaking investigative report arguing that certain elements of the federal government not only had foreknowledge of the events of 1/6, but that some senior members of the major militia groups blamed for the so-called “insurrection” were actually federal informants or undercover operatives themselves.

Scarcely three months after this report, the New York Times took the occasion of a sleepy Saturday morning to quietly confirm that there were indeed FBI informants among those militia members who “stormed the Capitol.”

As scores of Proud Boys made their way, chanting and shouting, toward the Capitol on Jan. 6, one member of the far-right group was busy texting a real-time account of the march.
The recipient was his F.B.I. handler.
In the middle of an unfolding melee that shook a pillar of American democracy — the peaceful transfer of power — the bureau had an informant in the crowd, providing an inside glimpse of the action, according to confidential records obtained by The New York Times. [NYT]

We learn that this particular informant, affiliated with a Midwest chapter of the Proud Boys militia group, provided the FBI advance warning that he would be traveling to DC along with other Proud Boys. The informant also kept his FBI handler in the loop as the “storming of the Capitol” unfolded throughout the day on the 6th.The piece goes on to reference an “additional informant from another Proud Boys chapter that took part in the sacking of the Capitol.”

Perhaps if you voted for people who supported a sensible voting system, like Proportional Representation, then your country wouldn't be going to shit.
