Rule No 1:Wrong!Those are Union soldiers.
CSA 1st Louisiana Native Guard (1861-1862) •
The 1st Louisiana Native Guard was the first official black regiment in the Confederate Army. Do you really believe racist whites named forts for great Confederate generals because they hate black people?“Renaming these forts” has nothing to do with this, but everything to do with treating every group and race equally

He’s a reservation Apache scouting for the CavalryNo, he is just reflexively siding against white people being proud of their heritage and history.
To properly answer Trump’s threat to “Save the Confederacy” by vetoing the defense budget is easy: Let him veto it!Trump set to veto defense bill over renaming bases honoring Confederate leaders
The president has told lawmakers he won't back down from a campaign threat to scuttle defense spending bill over proposed changes.www.nbcnews.com
"President Donald Trump is threatening to veto legislation to fund the military as one of his final acts in office unless a widely supported, bipartisan provision to rename military bases honoring Confederate military leaders is removed -- Since the Nov. 3 election, Trump has privately told Republican lawmakers that he won't back down from his position during the campaign that he would veto the annual National Defense Authorization Act if it includes an amendment to rename the bases. The effort to change the names of military bases honoring Confederate military leaders has been a target for Trump for months. While some Republicans are now shifting their positions to align with Trump, Democrats are refusing to budge on the agreed-to amendment, threatening passage of the legislation."
I believe Trump should totally take a stand for our rich and vast Confederate legacy, even if it means defunding the military -- our soldiers have fought to protect the Confederacy and the Democrats are trying to attack and disgrace our honorable Confderate generals -- I mean, the Democrats are trying to hide their racist past, yea, that's it!!
the white-hating race hustlers like Billyboom and Biff_Poindexter are using misunderstood history for their own race baiting today
Real accurate history comes from old John Wayne movies.

After the war it was not exactly common, but certainly not unheard of. Every Calvary Unit certainly had at least one. Probably a handful of former Confederates. Entire Infantry Units were made up of former Confederate Soldiers.
The people in question were Soldiers to the bone. And flourished under the discipline and hardships common in the military.
In other words. The people of the era did not hate the Confederates nearly as much as you do today. And this despite the fact that everyone knew someone who had died in that horrific war. For the people of the West. They did not care that the soldiers fighting the Indians were former Confederates.
It was you Northern Whites who started Segregation and kept it going after the war. The truth was shown in that movie. But you don’t care about accurate truth. You care more about what you think history should be. Not what it is.
it is said that those who fail to learn history are doomed to repeat it. I say if you are determined to rewrite history, you are certain to wish it had only repeated.

Many Confederates became double traitors. Waring on Native Americans was easy, even though Native Americans in the west allied with Confederates. Johnny Reb turned on their own nation or allies. Did you even read your own link?

BS, most white folks are not proud about racism, slavery, etc.
Slavery ended a long time agoFuck you and that bullshit you talking about...
Being a Confederate doesnt automatically mean youre evil. It simply means you were born in one place as opposed to another. Confederate soldiers should be honored as much as northern soldiers.Trump set to veto defense bill over renaming bases honoring Confederate leaders

Nobody today “hates” common soldiers who fought — often bravely — for the wrong lost cause of the Confederacy.
