Biden tucked tail and bailed out of Afghanistan before they were able to stand on their own, BUT, our presence there kept Pakistan in check and allowing the USA a passage way of sorts into Afghanistan.
The Taliban were mostly a product of the Islamist faction within Pakistan's ISI, who organized and supplied them. Once the USA is no longer there physically, than the Islamist faction inside the ISI is able to openly work with their Taliban proxies to seal off Afghanistan.
Basically when Biden abandoned The pro-West Afghani's, he let that Islamist faction in Pakistan's ISI and their Taliban partners seal them off from the world. Basically they were left in siege and would eventually run out of ammo, food, etc. They didn't run away, nowhere to run. But they weren't about to do suicide, some of them anyway.
If you knew your geography and looked deeper than the surface and the pravda from the MSM, you might have known and understand this situation. But you haven't shown signs yet of being the brightest bulb in the package, and doubt you ever will.
One other revelation is how once again it is when Democrats are running things that the USA is most likely to tuck tail, run away, and abandon our allies.
As for Iran, the USA and Israel aren't carpet bombing the populace and country in general. We're managing for the major part to be precise in targeting and the vast majority of death and destruction is to the Islamist Jihadis and the theocracy rulers. While many in Iran might be trying to CYA at the moment, once it's clear that the Mullahs are no longer in power, and won't be, and the IRGC won't be able to stand up to the military that joins with the citizens rebelling against the theocracy, we should see things make a large shift to the West and away from Islamist Jihad. It won't be "overnight" but it could be largely over within 2-3 months, if not sooner.
The bombs may be coming from "US", but they are landing upon the enemy of the people of Iran.
