The reason high-profile MAGA media entertainers are abandoning the cult is that they know they would lose market share by persisting in spouting "America First" propaganda amidst Trump's many copious failures and surrender to the allure of global conquest, an about-face in which the decrepit felon has stumbled egregiously.

I doubt the honesty of reports claiming the majority of Americans hate Trump and despise voter IDs.

You're not going to see a metaphorical "civil war" more obvious than this one.

But, because they have to protect the same brittle self esteem that drove them into the cult in the first place, the rubes have to pretend not to see it. Or, perhaps they're just working off of the alternate universe's proprietary definition of the term "civil war".
