Camp fire songs.

Dick Foster
Here is version of a camp fire song I really did learn sitting around a bonfire 40+ years ago...

https://www.letssingit.com/unknown-lyrics-bullshitin-onions-gravy-b4t44b3

The version I learned is a little bit different...

Onion Gravy

Big Dicks and onion gravy
sure do drive them women crazy
getting drunk on whiskey bye & bye
Won't your mama be disgusted
when she finds your cherry busted
foot prints on the dashboard upside down...

Now I only learned one verse... (cause I was really drunk at the time... Pink Floyd Reference)
I had never ran "Big Dicks and Onion Gravy" through a search engine...
SMH..

Well I've got a guitar right here but I can't play it fer shit.
Better hurry before arthritis or tendinitis
creep in. Acoustic is harder ( at least for me ) unless you're just
strumming James Taylor tunes or whatever.

It's never too late to have fun with it, even if it's just 12 bar blues or
basic playing through any 3 or 4 chords....simple stuff can sound good (especially if it's just the dogs listening)

Oh I can play a few songs and such but I just don't have any musical talent. I did the garage band thing when I was a kid but gave up on it after trying jazz and finding out I was hopeless. This is my thrird attempt now but this time I'm suffering no delusions and don't plan go ever be any good at it so I just plunk around for the fun of it. My talents lie in other areas just not music.
