Calling Out Alang1216: The God of Abraham is a myth

Please explain. The God of Abraham goes back way before Jesus. Couldn't we be having this debate, "The God of Abraham is a myth" 2500 years ago?
It is Jesus which proves the God of Abraham is real and not a myth. Jesus is the evidence for the God of Abraham.

No one cares about Zeus. This debate in on the God of Abraham.
So the myths of Zeus were not a conspiracy but the God of Abraham was?

The God you have made a personal mission to subvert. We are here to discuss whether or not the God of Abraham is a myth. Jesus Christ is my proof that the God of Abraham is real.
If that is your only proof, you have already lost.

There are thousands of verses that literally portray Jesus as God. It’s literally the basis of Christians believing Jesus is God. For your belief to be true that can only mean it was a trick to control people. There’s no evidence for that. In fact, it’s the exact opposite. Everything about their behaviors after Jesus rose from the dead supports that they believed Jesus is God.
Maybe we need to stop and give you time to read some Ehrman and Wright.

Spinning.
Actually what he said is that they were attacking him but in their attacks they validated him. And that’s true too. They acknowledge he was put to death for sorcery (performing miracles) and blaspheme (claiming and acting like he is equal to God).

So the myths of Zeus were not a conspiracy but the God of Abraham was?
When it comes to the miracles performed by Jesus, yes. Look at all the texts. Look at the behaviors of the first Christians. If it is as you say that Jesus didn’t perform any miracles or rise from the dead, then how could it not be a conspiracy to trick people into believing he did?

If that is your only proof, you have already lost.
I see it the other way around. I have the texts explaining why Jesus was worshipped as God, I have the behaviors of the first Christians coming out of hiding to proselytize Jesus is God, I have non-Christian historians documenting Christians worshipping Jesus as God and I have Jewish texts confirming Jesus was put to death for sorcery (performing miracles) and blasphemy (saying and acting like he was equal to God).

What do you have?

Maybe we need to stop and give you time to read some Ehrman and Wright.
Or maybe you need to present your evidence for why those manuscripts recorded something that wasn’t true.

If I claim Trump is a pedophile because he was friends with Epstein, how does validate him?

They acknowledge he was put to death for sorcery (performing miracles) and blaspheme (claiming and acting like he is equal to God).
They acknowledge the stories that he was put to death for sorcery and blaspheme. They had no direct knowledge and we know the Romans wouldn't execute someone for religious sins.

Did Elvis rise from the dead? Was there a conspiracy to claim he had?

So do I, Ehrman and Wright. Exactly what texts do you have?

I have the behaviors of the first Christians coming out of hiding to proselytize Jesus is God,
I don't recall you sharing evidence to back up this claim. Did you?

I have non-Christian historians documenting Christians worshipping Jesus as God
I have stories of Christians showing Christians NOT worshipping Jesus as God.

and I have Jewish texts confirming Jesus was put to death for sorcery (performing miracles) and blasphemy (saying and acting like he was equal to God).
Jewish texts written by people who heard hearsay only.

What do you have?
Occam's Razor and reasonable, alternative explanations.

Or maybe you need to present your evidence for why those manuscripts recorded something that wasn’t true.
The were written by Christians for Christians and were more interested in theology than historical accuracy. There are plenty of historical inaccuracies in the NT,

No. They acknowledge it period. Unconditionally.

Did Elvis rise from the dead? Was there a conspiracy to claim he had?
Again…. Use the texts we are discussing to make your point. Explain to me how such a detailed narrative became accepted as true if it is false as you claim. Walk me through it.

So do I, Ehrman and Wright. Exactly what texts do you have?
No you don’t. If you did you should be able to easy explain why so many people were fooled.

Jewish texts written by people who heard hearsay only.
Except they weren’t fans of Jesus. So when they say he was put to death for sorcery and blasphemy they weren’t praising him for it, they were criticizing him for it.

Occam's Razor and reasonable, alternative explanations.
Ocams’s Razor would say the accounts were true and you have yet to offer any explanation for how or why false accounts were made. So, no. You don’t have reasonable and alternative explanations.
