California mayor wants to give homeless people 'all the fentanyl they want': 'Need to purge these people'

It seemed implied in your response to fentanyl
Wow. NOT wanting homeless people to be poisoned suggests I want them to be killed by gangs? I don't see the connection at all.

If you condone this mayors policy what do you support?

I fully endorse this idea. These people are a blight on society and contribute absolutely nothing except chaos and misery. Let the trash take itself out.

A Southern California mayor said he wants to eliminate his city's homeless population by "giving them all the fentanyl they want," a controversial comment he doubled down on by saying he supports a federal "purge" of homeless people.

Lancaster Mayor R. Rex Parris, a Republican, made the comments during a city council meeting on Feb. 25 when a resident questioned him about the city’s plan to address the homeless crisis by "enclosing" the homeless population in a single encampment in an abandoned golf course near a residential neighborhood.

"What I want to do is give them free fentanyl. That’s what I want to do," Parris responded.

"I want to give them all the fentanyl they want," he reiterated.

Odd that you would be for a sane solution to an intractable problem.

Should anyone object, point out that no one is sentenced to this facility. They can leave at any time. Once word gets out that there is a place secure from law enforcement that they will be fed and given all the fentanyl they want, addicts from around the nation will flood in.

DSM-5 says that it's not a mental illness when it becomes an infliction of the majority. The majority of members commenting has shown that his comments are acceptable as normal.

See DSM-5 for the long version.

See the 'third Reich' for that which became normal behaviour.

He advocates the constructive murder of American citizens and he is a mayor? He sounds like a man who has the devil inside him.
Drug use is a national scourge. It's not given its due danger because so many engage in it and don't see it as a problem. Same with drinking. The problem is that we who aren't drug users or alcoholics have to pick up the slack for those who are.

/---/ Why is this different from libtard cities handing out crack pipes and clean needles?

It's no different than 'mass shootings, racism, and the number of Americans locked up in jails. Your society accepted norms that caused all the various problems.

Yes, in all cases the American people need to pick up the slack and pay higher taxes in doing so.

On the other side of that coin that you disagree with is the actions of the WA supreme court. Spokane has been inundated with homeless for years because of liberal actions of their city council. The citizens finally pushed back and enacted an anti-camping ordinance that prohibited camping on public streets and parks. The liberal supreme court invalidated the ordinance. SMH. Give them all the fentanyl they want.

I wouldn't mind paying more taxes, as long as I get my money's worth.

That's absolutely insane.

Internment camps for junkies?

That's the solution?
What's next? A "Logans Run" type civilization ?
Internment camps for junkies sounds perfect! :-)

This politician just telegraphed how ignorant he is. He is as bad as all the dope addicts on this forum who don't understand it either - especially when they claim shit like, marijuana is not addictive.

"The world is a vampire
Sent to drain
Secret destroyers
Hold you up to the flames
And what do I get
For my pain?
Betrayed desires
And a piece of the game

Even though I know
I suppose I'll show
All my cool and cold
Like ol' Job

Despite all my rage, I am still just a rat in a cage
Despite all my rage, I am still just a rat in a cage
Someone will say, "What is lost can never be saved"
Despite all my rage, I am still just a rat in a cage . . "

Ah yes, "Bullet with Butterfly Wings".

Great song.
