Are you comparing drug addicts to slaves if we try to fix them?

If you try to forcibly treat drug addicts you get a sober class of people who will get high the first chance they get. They won't work. They won't take care of themselves. Drug addicts are already enslaved to the drugs they take. I have no idea what you are trying to say.

I have long, LONG, believed that users should be warehoused and given all the drugs they want until they die.

DSM-5 says that it's not a mental illness when it becomes an infliction of the majority. The majority of members commenting has shown that his comments are acceptable as normal.

Lancaster Mayor R. Rex Parris, a Republican, made the comments during a city council meeting on Feb. 25 when a resident questioned him about the city’s plan to address the homeless crisis by "enclosing" the homeless population in a single encampment in an abandoned golf course near a residential neighborhood.

"What I want to do is give them free fentanyl. That’s what I want to do," Parris responded.
