The real problem is that the fringe, the people living on the edge, the extremists have been put into the positions of power and are screwing up everything. They are causing more problems then they are fixing. leave agendas while more work is needed once started and move onto the next one. Meanwhile huge costs and outlays are needed with huge taxes and massive underfunding of them built into the continuing budgets. Common sense advances become monstrous entities that have no end with waste based on greed, corruption, graft and stealing. And that is growing as more and more people see nothing wrong with it as it is expected.
