I'm sure it will help, but when I left Turlock eight years ago, the ground water level had gone down so far that the many of the aquifers were collapsing. Yup, the population of the valley just keeps increasing. Been saying since the 70s that if they keep paving over the most productive ag ground in the country, we would eventually starve. Folsom Lake is a very shallow lake and it will fill in a day with a decent rain storm. The water managers on the American River know their job.
