Bush to appoint moderate justice for SCOTUS

Pacifica Radio is reporting that Bush will submit a moderate for the vacant SCOTUS spot. It is a compromise to avoid a bitter confirmation fight.
The justice, whose name will be revealed tonight, is supposedly a person who will defend laws rather than seek to overturn them. Which means anyone looking for a swing vote on abortion and religion in schools is likely out of luck.
The views of the new justice appointee are being compared to those of O'Connor.

All I want them to do is to enforce laws and not seek to create law from the bench. I also don't want somebody that looks overseas to determine how OUR laws should be interpreted.
