Most health care professionals will continue to help people first, and worry about payment later. That's what they do. For the truly stingy folks out there, without EMTALA, they could look for a hospital or doctor who refuses to treat poor people. But they might not find one.The good thing is, no one is going to have to pay for other peoples shit, because they couldn’t afford it anyways...How many are going to lose their insurance?

People without the means to pay will still be treated by medical facilities and personnel and those cost will still be paid by those that do pay.
