Miami is out of control with violence. my prayers for the woman who got beat up.

You can shoot someone to save your own life but not the life of another. That would be murder.
can you shoot someone who is stabbing a third person

Yes, you can generally shoot someone to stop a stabbing, as a knife attack poses an imminent threat of death or great bodily harm. However, the legality of using deadly force in defense of a third person depends entirely on the specific circumstances and your local jurisdiction. [1, 2, 3, 4, 5]
For your action to be legally justified as "defense of a third person," you must be able to prove the following elements to a jury: [1]
  • Reasonable Belief: You must honestly and reasonably believe the third person is in imminent danger of death or great bodily harm. [1, 2]
  • Proportionality: You may only use the level of force necessary to stop the threat. Because a stabbing constitutes deadly force, using a firearm is generally considered a proportional response. [1]
  • Innocence of the Victim: The third person must be legally justified in using self-defense themselves and cannot be the initial aggressor. [1, 2]
  • No Duty to Retreat: Whether you are required to retreat before using force depends entirely on the state. For example, Michigan Self-Defense Laws allow deadly force without a duty to retreat if you have a legal right to be there. [1, 2, 3]

You will still be charged with murder.

Get a life Carl. For every one of these, there are 5 where whites are doing this to each other. White lives don't matter to you. You just want to race-bait.

Funny how nobody challenges how whites make everything about race.

Another example of Wilhoits law.

That's not accurate. In most state, self-defense or defense of another is an affirmative defense to a murder charge. In other words allowable if the person doing the defending meets all of the conditions that allows them to invoke the defense. One of which is that they cannot be the one who initiated the altercation.

There's a very good reason why the "n" word was invented.

They'll still be arrested for murder.

They don't give a damn about crime unless it is someone of color who commits it.

This coward along most of the racist cowards on this thread would probably run if they saw someone being stabbed.
