Until the grownups take the GOP back from the religious nuts, it kind of deserves to be bashed.
That isn't the point, turd gurbler. The people who bash the Republican party are all non-Republicans.
But that wasn't my point. The fact is, the Debates have been awful for Brown, because he's come off as mean and kind of petty in them.
So you can kind of see why he doesn't want to do more of them.
IF the debates were so awful for Brown, then why is he ahead in the polls? Debates almost always benefit the challenger, so Brown had nothing to gain from them in the first place, especially since Warren already committed electoral suicide.

A lot of Republicans are upset by the turn the party has taken. There really has been a major realignment compared to where the parties were in the 1980's.
Much like the Democrats had to get back to the center after Mondale/Dukakis, the GOP will have to get back to a sensible center after Romney.
Brown is not ahead in the polls, either.

Not one current poll has him ahead. Which is probably why he's just giving up at this point.
Obama is not even close to a center and you support him..so don't go telling others where they need to be.
