On December 1, 2011, the Committee on Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs held a hearing on Congressional insider trading at Browns request. Brown thereafter worked across the aisle to draft a bipartisan bill. President Obama signed Browns legislation into law on April 4, 2012. Stop Trading on Congressional Knowledge (STOCK) Act (S. 2038).
JUDGING EVERY NOMINEE ON MERIT: Senator Brown has approached judicial nominees coming before the Senate with an open mind, and voted to confirm nearly 90% of President Obamas nominations. Senator Brown believes that the president regardless of what political party they belong to has the right to nominate judges of his or her choosing, so long as they are qualified. Brown has opposed efforts from members of his own party to block Obama nominees, and has also voted for a measure that would reduce gridlock in the judicial confirmation process. Called the Presidential Appointment Efficiency and Streamlining Act, this bill would ensure that qualified government officials are not held up in Congressional red tape.
MAKING CONGRESS MORE ACCOUNTABLE: To increase Congress accountability, Brown co-sponsored a bill that would end Congressional pensions when a member of Congress is convicted of a felony while serving in office. Called the Congressional Integrity and Pension Forfeiture Act, this legislation would close a loophole that allowed former members of Congress to keep their pensions after committing public corruption crimes in another elected office.
The only way we will see change in this country is through electeds like Scott Brown and through people like the good Democrats I see at these rallies for the Senator. Mingling with these type of Democrats who are both intelligent and very much seeking what so many people are seeking in government. Honest leadership who will do what is right, not what is right for their party. Will we always agree on every issue? No. However I truly believe if we wrestle back this country from the loudmouth extremists and the partisan hacks on both sides we might actually make something happen and start some movement forward.

But that wasn't my point. The fact is, the Debates have been awful for Brown, because he's come off as mean and kind of petty in them.
So you can kind of see why he doesn't want to do more of them.

I really do not see how cancelling the last debate would have a positive or negative affect on his campaign. He is trailing and is likely to lose no matter what he does, so I really don't see this as being relevant.

That isn't the point, turd gurbler. The people who bash the Republican party are all non-Republicans.
But that wasn't my point. The fact is, the Debates have been awful for Brown, because he's come off as mean and kind of petty in them.

IF the debates were so awful for Brown, then why is he ahead in the polls? Debates almost always benefit the challenger, so Brown had nothing to gain from them in the first place, especially since Warren already committed electoral suicide.
