In a best case scenario, Hill would replace Thomas.

New evidence brings a call for the impeachment of Justice Clarence Thomas
She was a lying snot gollop.

that sort of racist thinking is why thomas has been outspoken against AA

With that said AA doesn’t apply to SCOTU

Thomas is however he only member of the court that was selected by a president and had appointed by a senate controlled by the opposing party

obviously that shows just how qualified he was for the job
It is amazing he is outspoken against it when it helped him to attain a Law Degree.

how do you know that? that’s sort of the racism connected to it that he’s against

people assume folks like he and obama didn’t get their education based on their merit

As an undergraduate at Holy Cross College, Thomas received a scholarship set aside for racial minorities. He was admitted to Yale Law School in 1971 as part of an aggressive (and successful) affirmative action program with a clear goal: 10 percent minority enrollment. Yale offered him generous financial aid.

In a November 1983 speech to his staff at the federal Equal Employment Opportunities Commission, Thomas called affirmative action ''critical to minorities and women in this society.''

Then, his remarks got personal: ''But for them (affirmative action laws), God only knows where I would be today. These laws and their proper application are all that stand between the first 17 years of my life and the second 17 years.''

Affirmative action can't guarantee success, but it can open doors previously closed to women and people of color. The rest is up to those who walk through the doors.

Are you a black woman?

Please explain how it is racist when Thomas himself said it was critical to minorities and women.

how do you know he was part of that 10 percent?

you don’t.

that’s the tragic flaw of AA…racist like yourself just assume folks like Thimas and Obama only got the to ivy because of it

your sexist remarks noted

you clearly haven’t actually read or heard him speak

You mean like the time he gave a speech in front of a white, conservative audience attacking his sister Emma Lou as a welfare cheat, he just amazingly left out the part where she quit her job to take care of their bed ridden aunt who required 24 hour care and that she went back to work after the aunt passed away. He was at the EEOC at the time, why didn't he pay for a live in nurse for her.

Amazing how he took advantage of the program, but is all for destroying it for those coming behind him. Smfh.

you have no proof he took advantage of welfare program..

it’s sad you all have to attack the man’s family though…what’s great is she was able to get off welfare, sadly one of his nephews turned to dealing crack…not sure what happened to him…but that’s the life the demafascist plantation masters wanted
