Good thread post, Excalibur. This is the perfect example for you guys trying to liken the BLM riots to the Capital insurrection. Both are prosecuted as Federal crimes, prosecuted by Federal prosecutors. Not state or local indulgence but the same Federal level of court and a U.S. Attorney.
U.S. Attoneys have a client, and it is the people of the United States. If they have a case, they should prosecute it without pride or prejudice or bias. He prosecutes without pride, that's for sure, but not without prejudice, and certainly not without bias, as his attempt to lessen the sentence supposedly because it was for a good cause, the BLM movement. To me, the judge should have cited him for contempt of court. He is supposed to be our attorney, not the defense attorney.
